Read me!

"Unforseen Feeling"
Jay-Jay

I never thought that
that i will for for you
even the moon
turns to blue

Then suddenly
in an ordinary day
you made it special
in a simple way

I just don't know how
would i exist
In this feeling
which i cannot resist

Having you makes
my dream come true
because in this world
there's no one else but "you"

I feel so gloomy
when you're not with me
Just likje pooh, without
his favorite honeybee...

A girl like you
whenever with me
is like a song that
completes an mp3

I treasure every
moment with you
that even a diamond
can't replace its value

I dream of you
day and night,
because I miss the sparks
between our sight

I can't grasp words to say
during the time you went away,
because it feels aweful like a
christian that doesn't know how to pray

I can cry
until i die
just do not leave me
and say goodbye

Maybe there is
nothing else i can do
Just for you
To love me too

I would still choose
to fall for you
even the moon
fades color and hue...

This was actually my first poem. I just hope you guys liked it! (^_^)
Well, the story behind how i made this poem...? Maybe next time! Hehe...

100% Pinoy!

ngunit parang may kulang,
hahamakin lahat
masunod ka lamang"
Ikaw ay igagalang
Kagaya sa aking inang
Ika'y sinisintang lubos kahit pa may kulang

Men are from Mars,Women are from Venus

Imagine that men are from mars and women are from venus. One day long ago the Martians, looking through the telescopes, discovered the venusians. Just glimpsing the venusians awakened feelings they had never known. They fell in love and quicly invented space travel and flew to venus.
The Venusians welcomed the Martians with open arms. They had intuitively known that this day would come. Their hearts opened wide to a love they had never felt before.
The love between the Venusians and Martians was magical. They delighted from being together, doing things together and sharing together.
Though from different worlds , they reveled in differences. They spent months learning about each other, exploring and appreciating thei different needs, preferences, and behavior patterns. For years they lived together in love and harmony.
Then they decided to fly to Earth. In the beginning everything was wonderful and beautiful. But the effects of Earth's atmosphere took hold, and one morning everyone woke up with a peculiar amnesia (selective amnesia!).
Both the Martians and Venusians forgot that they were from different planetsand were supposed to be different. In one morning everything the had learned about their differences was erased from their memory. And since that day men and women have been in conflict.

REMEMBERING OUR DIFFERENCES

Without the awareness that we are supposed to be different, men and women are at odds with each other. We usually become angry or frustrated with the opposite sex because we have forgotten this important truth. We expect the opposite sex to be more ourselves. We desire them to "want what we want" and "feel the way we feel".
We mistakenly assume that if our partners love us they will react and behave in certain ways (the ways react and behave when we love someone). This attitude sets up to be disappointed again and again and prevents us from taking the necessary time to communicate lovingly about our differences.
Men mistakenly expect women to think, communicate, and react the way men do; women mistakenly expect men to feel, communicate and respnd the way women do. We have forgotten that men and women are supposed to be differen. As a result our relationships are filled with unnecessary friction and conflict.
Clearely recognizing and respecting those differences dramatically reduces confusion when dealing with the opposite sex. When you remember that men are from Mars and women are from Venus, everything can be explained.

"When men and women are able to respect and accept
their differences then love has a chance to blossom."

  • Love is magical, and it can last, if we remember our differences.
The most frequently expressed complaint women have about men is that "men don't listen". Either a man completely ignores her when she speaks to him, or he listens for a few beats, assesses what is bothering her, and then proudly puts on his "Mr. Fix-It cap" and offers her a solution to make her feel better. On the other hand. the most frequently expressed complaint men have about womenis that "women are always trying to change them". Weh a woman loves a man she feels responsible to assist him in growing and tries to help him improve the way he does things.
These two problems can finally be solved by first understanding why men offer solutions and why women seek to improve. Let's pretend to go back in time, where by observing life on Mars and Venus.
Life on Mars
Martians value power, competency, efficiency and achievement. They are always doing things to prove themselves and develop their power and skills. Their sense of self is defined through their ability to achieve results. They experience fulfillment primarily through success and accomplishment. They are more interested in "objects" and "things" rather than people and feelings.
Life on Venus
Venusians have different values. They value love, communication, beauty and relationships. They spent a lot of time supporting, helping, and nurturing one another. Their sense of self is defined through their feelings and the quality of their relationships. They experienced fulfillment through sharing and relating. They are interested in "Feelings" and "People".
That's why we consider as men in a "Thinking" category of life and women in a "Feeling" category.
If you are really interested, and you want to know more about men and women and their differences, please read "men are from Mars, women are from Venus" by John Gray, Ph.D.

About me?

Hi! I post this for the reason that some would find me in a way that is far from who i really am. Some would say that I'm boastful, arrogant, lazy and proud but the truth is I'm not. People are saying those things because they just met me for a while and yet they keep on saying things that as if we know each other for years. So by this, I want you guys, know more about me, the true me. So here it goes...
I'm Jonathan Joe D. Garcia but i prefer to be called by my nickname, "Jay-Jay". I'm a 17 year-old guy who used to treasure my friends, yes you read it right, i treasure my friends. I'm kind, approachable, friendly, understanding and fun to be with. I'm less confident without my friends, but when I'm with them I can do things that will entertain and make them laugh like as if there's no tomorrow. You can hear my friends saying that I'm from a rich family but actually I'm not. As a matter of fact, sometimes we can't help having financial problems. My friends say that I'm a good counselor. Just wanna share something, when i first met my Psychology professor, the first thing he asked me is "are you a good counselor,or adviser?", that's why I start wondering that maybe its true. But its just one of my many ways on how to thank my friends and other people around me as well. I love reading books and my favorite authors are J.K. Rowling (the one who wrote Harry Potter) and Mr. Jonh Gray, Ph.D. (author of 12 bestseller books e.g. "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" and etc.), I aslo read books from Bob Ong, but just for me to learn crazy things in life(hehehe). I love dancing, in fact, i'm a dance troupe member (Lyceum Laguna Dance Troupe) but I realized what Gary V. said "makakasayaw ka pa ba kapag gurang ka na?" and my Anatomy professor also told me that "Mr. Garcia, you enrolled in this school not to be a good dancer but to finish nursing and become a professional nurse in the future". I reflected on the things that they told me and i decided not to passionate dance anymore but focused on my studies instead. Anyway, in addition to "about me", i'm a music lover, that's why i can appreciate all genres of music. I play drums and guitar, the instrument i love most is piano, but the thing is, i really don't know how to play that thing. I'm also interested in violin, but I also don't have any idea on how it is working(hehehe). Sports? basketball, soccer and badminton. I love andventures like hiking, campings, and all. I wanna explore things just for me to learn. Once our dean told me that in life "It's better to TRY AND FAIL than to FAIL TO TRY", and that statement helped me a lot. I guess that would be all, if you still wanna know more about me just ask my friends.
